Dr. Rabeeh Majidi, CEO and founder of OrthoKinetic Track has Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering and business certificate from Harvard business school with more than 12 years of research experience and professions work in engineering field with specialty on sensor and circuit design and experience managing multi-disciplinary projects at academia and industry. The company founder has led several projects from design to manufacturing in her previous engineering roles.

Bianco is a serial entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience in research and product development, operations, sales and marketing, and finance in multiple orthopedic medical device manufacturers and life science product companies with primary focus on orthopedic joint reconstruction and digital health applications. He has led or supported the creation of several successful early-stage medical technology start-ups and commercialized multiple implantable medical device products from firms ranging from university spin offs to fortune 500 companies. He holds four U.S. and European patents relating to orthopedic joint reconstruction devices and digital health technology. He earned an Executive MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in human physiology from the University of Minnesota.

Clinical Advisor, Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Entezari is a fellowship-trained Staff shoulder and elbow surgeon in the Orthopaedic and Rheumatologic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. His clinical practice is focused on disease of the Shoulder and elbow including rotator cuff disease, rotator cuff arthropathy, shoulder arthritis, instability, upper extremity fractures and joint infections. His prior experience with shoulder kinematics, rotator cuff repair studies is well suited for his role as clinical advisor to the company.

Pratap Rao

Pratap Rao

Scientific advisor and E-textile Garment Development Lead

Pratap Rao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). He received his BS in 2007 from WPI and his PhD in 2013 from Stanford University. He has co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers that have appeared in Advanced Energy Materials, Nano Letters, and other journals, and have collectively been cited over 3,800 times. His work on printed flexible and stretchable electronics has been funded by the U.S. Department of Defense through the NextFlex Manufacturing USA Institute and the SEMI-FlexTech program, and by the Commonwealth of MA through the Massachusetts Manufacturing Innovation Initiative. He will be assisting in the development of e-textile garments for Orthokinetic track.

Co-Founder, Medical Device and Regulatory Consultant

As a key member of the OrthoKinetic Track team, Dr. Ali Kiapour brings a wealth of expertise in the field of biomedical engineering. Holding a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Medical Science from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Kiapour’s research and academic background are exceptional. His focus on biomechanics and regulatory affairs is crucial for developing cutting-edge solutions in the field of wearable devices for tracking muscle activity and joint kinematics. He is an active committee member of ASME’s V&V40 committee on computational modeling of medical devices an active member of ASTM F42 committee on Additive manufacturing of medical devices.
