CEO & Founder
Dr. Rabeeh Majidi, CEO and founder of OrthoKinetic Track has Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering and business certificate from Harvard business school with more than 12 years of research experience and professions work in engineering field with specialty on sensor and circuit design and experience managing multi-disciplinary projects at academia and industry. The company founder has led several projects from design to manufacturing in her previous engineering roles.

Rich Pulsifer
CFO
Rich has a diverse background in multiple areas including Finance, Accounting, Human Resources and Legal. He brings extensive experience conducting capital raising, process automation, product launching, and business growth functions for multiple organizations. Other areas of expertise include leadership, auditing, cash management, internal and external financial reporting/analysis, mergers and acquisitions, establishing policies, procedures, and SOX controls, inventory management, ERP enhancement and implementation and IPO.

Ali Kiapour, Ph.D. MMSC
Medical Device Consultant
Dr. Kiapour has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Medical Science in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical school. For the past 15 years, he has dedicated his research to investigating the biomechanical impact of various surgical and non-surgical procedures for the treatment of spine and the extremity joints. Most of his research has been focused on building computational tools for simulation of the anatomical function of the joint and spine and using them along with biomechanical experimental tools for validation and predictions of joint-related mechanical parameters. He is an active committee member of ASME’s V&V40 committee on computational modeling of medical devices an active member of ASTM F42 committee on Additive manufacturing of medical devices. He is the biomedical engineering consultant for the company.

Vahid Entezari, MD MMSC
Clinical Advisor, Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Entezari is a fellowship-trained Staff shoulder and elbow surgeon in the Orthopaedic and Rheumatologic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. His clinical practice is focused on disease of the Shoulder and elbow including rotator cuff disease, rotator cuff arthropathy, shoulder arthritis, instability, upper extremity fractures and joint infections. His prior experience with shoulder kinematics, rotator cuff repair studies is well suited for his role as clinical advisor to the company.

Edward Clancy, Ph.D.
Research Collaborator
Dr. Clancy is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at WPI, with a collaborative appointment in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He has done research work in EMG acquisition and signal analysis for approximately 40 years. This work has included clinical applications in stroke/TBI rehabilitation, myoelectric prosthesis, and other clinically relevant areas. As a research collaborator, he contributes to experimental design, physiologic signal processing/feature extraction from the acquired data, statistical analysis of the data, and modeling/relating the extracted features to patient rehabilitation progress.

Ziming Zhang, Ph.D.
Research Collaborator
Dr. Zhang is a faculty in the ECE department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), affiliated with Data Science and Robotics Engineering. He is leading the Vision, Intelligence and System (VISLab) at WPI. His expertise lies in computer vision and machine learning, such as deep learning, algorithms, optimization, 2D/3D object recognition/detection/segmentation, person reidentification, video retrieval, point cloud processing, IoT, autonomous driving, medical imaging, and time-series data analysis. As a research collaborator he contributes in deep learning algorithm development for the company.
